Frequently Asked Questions

The Makom Pereire team presents its frequently asked questions. It is composed of the questions most frequently asked by our customers. If you do not find the answer to your question, please contact our team who will be happy to answer you.

How can I access the Makom Pereire establishment?

Once you have completed your reservation (pre-payment & pre-authorisation for the guarantee of your stay) you will receive an email 24 hours before your arrival with all the information you need. You will find information such as the access code to Makom, the QR CODE to access your room, the wifi.

 

Is there an elevator in the establishment?

Yes, there is an elevator at your disposal, and it serves all the floors.

How can I get new sheets, towels, tissues, toilet paper or garbage bags when I stay for a long time ?

Just send us a message on WhatsApp with your Name, your room number and your request to + 33 7 64 87 91 10! For your information, we only clean your room before your arrival. During your stay, no cleaning service is provided.

Are pets allowed in the establishment?

Unfortunately we do not accept pets in our establishment.

Do you have a breakfast service?

The Makom does not offer breakfast.

Is your establishment adapted to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the Makom establishment is adapted to PRM standards. We have a room for disabled people (classic category).

Why can't I reach the establishment?

We answer your urgent requests from 9am to 12pm.

You can also consult the person in charge of the security of the establishment present on the premises from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am

Do you have a concierge service?

The Makom Pereire does not offer this type of service.

Do you have a shared kitchen?

We do not have a common kitchen. However, we do have a shared refrigerator at the reception desk.

Do you have a coffee machine or vending machine?

We do not provide these facilities for now.

Does my room have a safe?

No, none of the rooms at Makom establishment have a safe.

Is there air conditioning in the room all year round?

We do not have air conditioning in most of our rooms. Only the 4  "Room Deluxe Duplex " category have air conditioning.

Is it possible to request an extra bed in my room?

We cannot provide extra beds. We only offer double rooms.

Are there rooms with a balcony?

We do not have any room with a balcony or a terrace.

Do the rooms face the courtyard or the street?

All the rooms are facing the courtyard.

Do you have connecting rooms ?

Yes, Makom has two connecting rooms.

Does the Makom offer smoking rooms?

Smoking is strictly forbidden in our establishment. If you do not smoke, we may charge you a cleaning and disinfection fee of up to 150€.

Is there heating in the rooms?

Yes, the Makom has a heating system in every room.

Is there any equipment in the room ?

We do not have a kitchen, a minibar, a kettle, a bottle opener or an iron in our rooms. The rooms are equipped with the bare necessities.

At what time can I check in and when do I have to check out?

The check-in time is from 3pm, the room will not be available before that time.

Check-out is at 11am, you cannot stay in the room beyond 11am.

Is it possible to get a refund for a non-cancellable, non-refundable offer?

It is not possible to get a refund for a non-cancellable, non-refundable offer, even if it is a mistake in the dates.

How is my stay in the establishment?

The Makom is a place where you will be completely independent from your arrival to your departure. We do not have a reception or a concierge. We have a person in charge of security in the evening from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am.

For the check-in we will send you after receiving your payment and a pre-authorization as a guarantee, an email containing an access code to enter the establishment and a QR CODE to access your room.

For the check-out you just have to leave the room at 11 am on the day of your departure and you can leave the establishment.

What is a pre-authorization?

A pre-authorization is a deposit, a bank guarantee. The amount is simply blocked on your credit card during your stay and is automatically released upon your departure if no damage is noted in the room. Without this pre-authorization we will not be able to give you access to your room.

What are your payment conditions?

The payment is done in advance via a secure payment link or on the booking platforms. A pre-authorization of 150 € per room will be blocked but not debited 5 days before your arrival in our establishment. This pre-authorization will be released at the time of check-out and you will get it back on your bank account according to the delays of your bank, generally between one and five days after your check-out.

What are the cancellation conditions?

The cancellation policy of Makom is non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, we invite you to read the general conditions of sale indicated on your reservation.

Can I make a reservation by phone ?

All reservations must be made directly on our reservation site: Makom Pereire | Paris 17 | Official site or on other reservation platforms.

Payment & preauthorization methods : Can I pay my reservation or my pre-authorization on the spot?

The payments are made only online before your arrival by credit cards.

Why haven't I received any information about my arrival at Makom?

In order to receive information about your arrival and the QR code for access, you must validate the link for pre-authorization as a deposit of 150€.

After 8pm on the day of your arrival, please come directly to Makom. Also check your EMAILS as well as your SPAMS.

Why am I being charged €150? What is a pre-authorization?

A pre-authorization is made of an amount of 150€ as a guarantee; this is not a debit but only a deposit blocked (not debited) on your bank card.

No access will be allowed to the establishment without finalizing the secure online pre-authorization.

In case of damage to the room, cigarette smell etc. this amount will be debited. Otherwise, the pre-authorization will be cancelled at check-out.

Pre-authorization is a standard procedure to guarantee your reservation at Makom Pereire.

Can I leave my luggage on site before check-in or after check-out?

We cannot take care of your luggage. We suggest you download this application: https://www.nannybag.com/fr where you can find a place to leave your luggage anywhere in Paris!

If you decide to leave your luggage in the establishment despite our prohibition, you will be 100% responsible in case of loss, theft or damage.

Is it possible to arrive before the arrival date or to extend my stay?

It is possible to arrive before the arrival date or to extend your stay depending on the availability. To do so, you just have to make a reservation on our website: Makom Pereire | Paris 17 | Site officiel (makom-pereire.com).

Does the Makom have a parking lot?

Our establishment does not have a parking lot. However, there are parking spaces in the street in front of the building. They do not belong to the establishment and are at the price of 4€/hour.

Is it possible to leave my luggage at the reception?

We do not have a luggage service on sight but we suggest you to see with nannybag service.

Is there a space to work in Makom?

For the moment we do not have a shared area for cowroking.

Does Makom have a concierge service?

We do not have a concierge service.

Does Makom have a dry cleaning service?

We do not provide a dry-cleaning service. There is a laundromat open from 7am to 10pm located 500 meters from the Makom at 2 Rue de Senlis, 75017 Paris.
